Mangalam was asked 11 questions on the show aired till Tuesday night. Mangalam won Rs 6.40 lakh by replying. In response to these questions, Mangalam used three lifelines. Mangalam got off to a good start in the second half of the show aired on Wednesday. The 12th question was easily answered, but on the 13th question of 25 lakh rupees, Mangalam used the last lifeline. Mangalam himself answered the 14th question of Rs 50 lakhs. Mangalam could not answer the question of one crore rupees. On not answering, he decided not to play further. After leaving the game, Amitabh Bachchan asked Mangalam for an answer which proved to be wrong.
Mangalam told the show that Papa has taken an education loan for his sister. With this money, he will repay the loan. Mangalam studies at Shivaji College, Delhi.
